After taking the typology test for my Comp I class, I actually learned a lot about myself. I found that I am very extrovert. Which matches me completely I am a very outgoing person and what people think and feel matters to me. Being a extrovert is very helpful when it comes to school because I want to stay on top of things and get my work done. Although I read that extroverts like to act first and think later I believe that is completely opposite from me. I tend to think about everything before doing it. My boyfriend tells me I think too much and need to live a little. Another thing I found out by taking the test is I am a intuitor. I wasn't real sure on what that meant but by looking up the definition I found that it relates to me well. By being a intutor I personally think it will help me with writing more than anything. Since I do come up with ideas first then add details to them later which is a very big thing when writing a paper. The next thing that I scored in was feeling over thinking. This I struggle with and I think may hurt my writing skills. I want my papers to be so good I always want to please people so I do that by how they feel or how I think they will feel. I never want someone not to be happy and if they are I try my hardest to make them happy. Finally I scored in judging over perceiving which can be great both ways in writing for college. Judging can help my writing by allowing time to get things done and it can hurt my writing because I do things just to get them done. As an overall I'm torn between if this test can really hurt me or help me with writing. It gave me some really great points and helped me learn more about myself that I didn't know.

  1. Nice reflection. Do not forget to give you audience context. What was your indicator? Introduce this. What is the context of the indicators? What do the indicators mean? ~Ms. A.
